The Instructor Development Course. This is an intensive five day active learning event. It is designed as a development course and the attendee will begin with a baseline presentation and develop a plan to improve their skills throughout the week.

The Program Syllabus

Monday. Introductions, course objectives, overview, base-line presentations, self-evaluation techniques, and performance objectives

Tuesday. Feedback techniques, presentation skills, learning styles, learning preferences, retention techniques, learning outcomes, lesson planning,

Wednesday. Did learning happen? Presentations and practice, peer feedback, peer evaluations, learning theory reinforcement, and instructor coaching.

Thursday. Tips for trainers, training evaluations, student behaviors, question techniques, open forum, and preparation workshop,

Friday (a full day session). Final presentations, final evaluations, individualized instructor feedback sessions, action planning, graduation, and program evaluation.
